Barley and oats look alike, sometimes, on packaging, and if you don’t read Korean, you might end up making barley-chocolate-chip-cherry cookies, some enchanted evening, and find that there’s a pretty good reason why those aren’t a thing.  There may be a way to make cookies with barley in them, but that way was not discovered this evening. Alas. Such are the hazards of baking in a second language.
